Our recent stay at Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge was a lovely family getaway. Nestled amidst the jungle, this hotel offered an immersive nature experience that my kids adored. The family suite we occupied was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy balcony perfect for enjoying morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. One of the highlights was the really good breakfast; every morning, we indulged in a variety of local dishes that fueled our adventures. The staff, especially Asanka and his team, were attentive and genuinely cared for our needs, even preparing a packed breakfast for our early departure. The kids had a blast in the nearby garden and especially loved our yoga sessions with Alice, who was supportive of our novice attempts. While getting to the rooms involved a fair bit of stairs, the Tuk Tuk rides to town added to the fun.
